The best way to appreciate what Kubrick achieved here is to: – read Anthony Burgess’ brilliant novel first – imagine you are a 60s era director – try to work out how to transfer that text to screen – sit back and enjoy the revelation.

Some of the art direction/set design in this film is a knock-out, even now! Its also a must see, for Conrad Veidt fans.
