This extraordinary fan-made trailer is for a movie that will never be made but should. I mean, Superman and Batman will team on screen eventually but I kinda figure that Hollywood will screw it up. This close to four minute slice of nerdy heaven is pretty darn close to perfection.
You’ll be aching to see the Powell and Pressburger film A Matter of Life and Death by the time you finish watching this glorious video by thebigbluemeany. She’s put together a beautiful montage of images and sounds from the movie set to Robbie Williams’ “Angels”. She is one of my all-time favorite fan vidders so it’s difficult for me to choose a favorite amongst her work, but this one is most definitely in the top three.
I adore this little weekly rants from comedian David Mitchell. They never fail to be wonderfully witty nitpicking on a wide variety of subjects. In this installment, he picks on Americans. Well, sort of.
A stunning fan video featuring choice clips from The Man from U.N.C.L.E.‘s marvelous first season, which was entirely broadcast in beautiful black and white. I hope all of you enjoy this video half as much I do because then you’ll love it to pieces.
This recently uploaded video has quickly become quite a favorite with me. I love a well-made fan video, especially one that leaves the interpretation up to you. I think it could be seen as friendship, father/son or slash between Gibbs and DiNozzo depending on your preference and what you want to see. If you do watch it, I think we can all agree it’s got a lot of heart, excellent editing and is a wonderful illustration of the relationship between these two television characters.
I love the fact that The Muppets make videos just for online consumption. It’s the only way it seems that we’ll get to see them – and it gives them more freedom to do short vids like this one, which is just adorable.
This video is for my Mom. This was the very first Monty Python sketch she ever saw and by the time it was over she was laughing so hard she was crying. (It was John Cleese smacking that bird on the bottom of his shoe that was the kicker.) Whenever she was feeling down all I had to do was pull out this sketch and whatever was bothering her faded to the background. Whenever I’m missing her, as I am today on the eve of the second anniversary of her passing, I watch this and laugh until I cry.
I love this song and the video compliments it perfectly. Yeah, it’s sweet, sappy and slashy but I don’t find a thing wrong with that. Not at all. I’m sure after you’ve watched this fine fan video you won’t either.
Nice opening words of wisdom from our CEA leads right into a nice action moment from his partner and off we go on a roller coaster ride of action, adventure and angst – all set to the driving tune “Slow Hands” by Interpol which captures the spirit of the clips splendidly. drworm’s vid is another fine example of the very talented pool of cousins Muncle fandom draws in.
