In my recent (and all too brief) sojourn to the Bay Area I was introduced to Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre and as a result I’m going to force SHARE them with all of you too. (If you have the “Doctor Who” DVD of “The War Games” you SO want to look for the hidden Easter Egg. “In exile?”)
The best way to appreciate what Kubrick achieved here is to: – read Anthony Burgess’ brilliant novel first – imagine you are a 60s era director – try to work out how to transfer that text to screen – sit back and enjoy the revelation.
