I’m sure you’ll agree that this is a sharply made fan video that is a lot of fun. This is one of those fan videos that gets a community excited because it is just so well done. Great song too, but beware it’ll stick in your head.

This is a fight scene from an 1997 episode of “Spy Game” entitled “What Family Doesn’t Have It’s Ups and Downs?”. I thought this was cool for a few reasons. First, if the actors seem familiar it’s because James Cash is played by Michael Weatherly, who is currently starring on the hit CBS drama “NCIS”. Second, the show was executive produced by Sam and Ivan Raimi. The show, which I really enjoyed except for the chick, didn’t even run a full season so it’s doubtful that it’ll ever see the light of day on DVD but I wanted to share this scene because I thought it was funny.
“Atlantic City” to “The Bad and the Beautiful”
“The Army of Darkness” to “At Sword’s Point”
A mash-up of The Beatles “Paperback Writer” and “I’m a Believer” performed by The Monkees. Very cleverly done audio mix – the video, not as inspiring, but eight cute guys to gaze at is never a bad thing. Enjoy!
“Anne of a Thousand Days” to “The Aristocats”
This is one of my favorite “Man from U.N.C.L.E.” music videos. The tune is snappy, the editing is crisp, the choice of clips is a delight and it has that rewatchability factor in spades. Best of all, this video never fails to make me smile.
“American Psycho” to “Andrei Rublev”
I’m catching up! This is the first list where I’ve seen all five movies, great choices. One of the interesting things about Alphaville is that there were no sets–it was all filmed in existing 1965 Paris locations, particularly La Defense if I remember correctly. So the recognizable somehow becomes alien noir. I should try to find it, it’s been years since I saw it.
