Laurel & Hardy: The Official Website

Recommended Site. This is a beautifully designed and easy to navigate site with all the bells and whistles you would expect to find. There are downloads, postcards, competitions, how to purchase L&H stuff in the country where you live, plus a history of Stan and Ollie – on screen and off, essays, restoration updates and tent listings. Tent listings? Brief explanation: The Laurel & Hardy Society called their first group Sons of the Desert, which is the name of one of their films as well as the lodge their characters pledge their allegiance to. Each branch of the L&H Society are called “tents” and are usually named after another of the comedic duos films. Easy peasy. (Vol. 3, Issue 1)
