“The Comedy of Terrors” to “The Competition”
In my recent (and all too brief) sojourn to the Bay Area I was introduced to Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre and as a result I’m going to force SHARE them with all of you too. (If you have the “Doctor Who” DVD of “The War Games” you SO want to look for the hidden Easter Egg. “In exile?”)
The best way to appreciate what Kubrick achieved here is to: – read Anthony Burgess’ brilliant novel first – imagine you are a 60s era director – try to work out how to transfer that text to screen – sit back and enjoy the revelation.

Be sure to check out his Showtime special “Charmageddon” airing this month. It’s out on DVD soon, so be sure to pre-order your copy today! Okay, I’ve talked enough. It’s time for Hal to speak for himself.
