Video of the Week: Notorious trailer

Hitchcock’s masterpiece is really what “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” is based on. I swear! Cary Grant is the dashing agent who looks gorgeous in a tux, Ingrid Bergman is the innocent dragged into helping the cause, Claude Rains is the Thrushie, er Nazi. If you’ve not seen the film, you should. I bet your local library even has a copy of it.

Video of the Week: A Matter of Life and Death

You’ll be aching to see the Powell and Pressburger film A Matter of Life and Death by the time you finish watching this glorious video by thebigbluemeany. She’s put together a beautiful montage of images and sounds from the movie set to Robbie Williams’ “Angels”. She is one of my all-time favorite fan vidders so it’s difficult for me to choose a favorite amongst her work, but this one is most definitely in the top three.
